LA Party Rentals – Important Safety Measures

By Greg

Safety measures have always been important when dealing with the organization of various simple, birthday, wedding or corporate parties. However, it doesn’t really matter if you’re a party rental amateur or doing it professionally while handling a business for several years, you are still going to be required to stay alerted when it comes to the security of your party. In this post I plan to share with you some of the most important aspects that you might feel necessary to take into consideration and implement if you don’t want to have your party ruined. During my party rental career in Los Angeles I always had success in avoiding troubles and making my guests feel humiliated or unpleasant when trying these, so I guess that it won’t hurt if you discover them too, when reading this article, from the beginning till the end. Here you go ladies and gentlemen; the most important safety measures to take care of when organizing a real party and willing to make the people that attended it really happy!

Face control
This is necessary even if you are not running a prestigious club or restaurant. Face control has been proven to reduce the overall percentage of unwanted incidents at different types of parties. That’s why, if you are renting a huge party, with plenty of space and plenty of guests that you don’t know about, it is good to have two or three people to watch the door. If they feel that someone is too suspect to come in, doesn’t have an ID, hasn’t been officially invited or looks like troublesome, they should make sure he doesn’t enter the building. There are cases when the person might insist and in that case they should call you, the big boss, in order to handle this. It might sound a little bit naïve, but it could one of your old good buddies from high school that is simply excited and looks strange and the guys that you asked to watch the door won’t simply let him in. Something like this happened once!

Weather
If you are renting an open air party somewhere in a penthouse or on a beach, you have to make sure that you are protected in case of a rain. Having a tent somewhere in behind the curtains is not going to hurt. Even more, it will definitely make you feel more comfortable because the moment the rain decides to fall you will be ready to face it with dignity and certainty, without any panic or running from one place to another searching for umbrellas for your VIPs. Always take weather into serious consideration when thinking about safety measures because it can partially make your party rental into a total fail if you don’t know how to correctly treat it whenever it starts to appear. Most of the serious parties are held in the evening. However, I suppose that sometimes you might begin it during the afternoon and for that particular time of the day you might be required to have sun umbrellas as well.

Security
Having a few body guards around to take care that everything is going on smoothly is also quite important. You are going to feel it the very moment someone gets drunk and starts to show who cool and strong he or she is. You need to be able to control such people pretty fast without them managing to destroy damage or injure someone. Even if it’s not your party you need to make sure that everything is safe and people feel themselves protected

First Aid
And finally, the ability to offer someone the first aid is also very important. If you are running contests of different kind, people can experience very exciting feeling and might fall down, lose consciousness or even start to feel dizzy. I’m not saying that you should have an ambulance somewhere near all the time, but make sure that there is someone who can handle a person that needs the first aid in case something health related occurs. Various things might happen especially if you are renting a place for a party for about several hundred people. Take your time and think about this yourself. It’s not your ordinary birthday party with several guests. We are talking about major party rentals here.

I remember taking care about all these aspects myself when I used to run my party rental business in Los Angeles. Everything was top notch and people were always satisfied! If you want to have the same success, taking care of the above mentioned important safety measures is very important!
